Ignite Phoenix’s main goal is to energize the creative community across the Valley, and we’ve been thrilled at the huge range of involvement so far. We’ve had people attend from every part of the metro area, really demonstrating what an incredibly diverse community we have.
The reponse has been so great that the last two events at Jobing.com were standing room only, even with us cramming every chair in the place that wasn’t nailed down into the place. That’s why we’re incredibly excited to announce that the next Ignite Phoenix will be held at the Tempe Center for the Arts!
The City of Tempe is incredibly interested in bringing innovative events to their downtown, and is helping us with the sponsorship and logistics to make this happen. We will be in the Lakeside Room, which is where Charlene Li spoke in her recent local appearance. In addition to having more space, the Lounge and other amenities at the Center for Arts should help promote the networking and interaction that is such a critical part of ignite.
The date will be Wednesday, February 25th, at 6:00pm. We will be taking submission ideas for the entire month of January, so if you have something you would like to talk about, start thinking about your pitch.
