News Flash! Announcing Ignite Phoenix 3′s Final Lineup!

by Jeff Moriarty on February 9, 2009

We had an unbelievable 59 submissions for our third Ignite Phoenix event—can you believe it!? Actually, we had so many submissions that we decided to bump up our number of presentations from 16 to 18 to squeeze in as much awesomeness as possible!

As you can imagine, deciding the final lineup was an extremely arduous task for our judges. After a long weekend of blood, sweat, energy drinks and tears, we ended up with what we think is a great cross-section of topics for all to be inspired by!

Speaking of inspiration, there were a ton of amazing ideas submitted for Ignite Phoenix 3 that we couldn’t fit into our final 18, which just goes to show the high quality of submissions that we received. The Ignite Phoenix crew extends a huge “Thank You” to all those who submitted an idea for a presentation and stepped up to support the community that Ignite Phoenix is trying to bring together!

If you haven’t heard, Ignite Phoenix 3 has a new venue this time around and will take place on Wednesday February the 25th at the Tempe Center for the Arts; please RSVP for Ignite Phoenix 3 at Upcoming if you haven’t done so already!

We hope you’re as excited as we are for Ignite Phoenix 3, and feel free to take a look at the final lineup below!

Sincerely,
~Tomas Carrillo and the Ignite Phoenix Crew

Excellent selections! I’m glad (seriously) that “Slicing Brains Very Quickly” made the cut — so to speak.

If Chanelle Richardson needs any expert witness testimony for “The Art of Enjoying Food” presentation, I am available on a pro bono basis.

@Justin – I’m with you, but I work on more of a pro-donut basis. Or cupcakes. I’m flexible.

Isn’t the whole point of Ignite Phoenix to consume mass quantities of @Chanelle’s cupcakes?

First non-J name to comment! Woot!

I’m looking forward to it. Fortunately, I’m going to get back into town a couple days before this. Awesome!

Wouldn’t miss it for the world! Some great topics there and I must say that having been the victim of multiple zombie attacks since Ignite II that Ignite probably saved my life!

Whoa, didn’t get the cupcake memo on the facebook invite. I might just have to rearrange my schedule!
