Help needed: Volunteers, Blogs, and Sponsors

We are constantly impressed by the support Ignite Phoenix gets from the community, and for those of you inclined to pitch in, there are a few places we could use some help!

Volunteers Needed for the Event

We need about 20 people to help with different things during Ignite, from ticket taking to presenter wrangling. You will need to be at the Tempe Center for the Arts by 4:00pm on June 16th, and able to stay until the end of the event around 9:00pm. You may be asked to attend a short training orientation with the TCA to be able to work as an usher and help in case of an emergency (like sitting in the exit row on a plane).

Blogging & Tweet Day – May 13th

Once before every event we ask our friends and supporters to help us with an awareness push about the next event. That day is Wednesday, May 13th, and we would love it if you could help us out by blogging, tweeting, Facebooking, semaphoring, carrier pigeoning, or psychic emanating. Whatever super powers you possess, put them to use!

For blogs, even a small post on any blogs you write for is much appreciated. We will make a reminder blog post on the 13th with tweet and Facebook links.

Ignite Phoenix has grown considerably in the past year, but we’re determined to keep the event free for attendees.
