Ignite Phoenix #5 Kickoff! Get involved!

We’re about to start planning for Ignite Phoenix #5, and are starting this one off a little bit different than we have in the past. There are so many questions about Ignite, our direction, and our plans, as well as people who want to get involved in the event, that we’re doing a open kickoff.

When: Wednesday, August 19th, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm
Where: Terralever’s Offices on Mill Ave

Curious about Ignite?

We’ll be talking about our future plans for about an hour, and welcome any questions. Topics include:

• What venues is Ignite looking at?
• How big is it looking to get?
• What about specialized Ignites, like Dev Ignite and Ignite Republic Media?
• How is sponsorship being handled?
• Why we do that one thing that you’ve always wanted to know about and don’t think makes any sense!

Want to get involved?

We’re looking for volunteers to contribute all sorts of skills from identifying sponsors, to organizing tshirts, to spreading the word, to helping coordinate people during the event itself. If you want to help in any capacity, we would love to have you on board. You can just show up that night, or better yet please send us an email at ignitephoenix@gmail.com and let us know.

I’m pretty danged excited to kick off another Ignite Phoenix, and looking forward to getting the community involved to make this the biggest and best one yet!
