We had more than 100 submissions across a wide range of topics and the final decision was an extremely difficult one for our review board. Our review board was comprised of a group of individuals with different degrees of technical, entrepreneurial, and artistic focus who reviewed all submissions; we wish there was time for all of the fantastic submissions we received but we only have room for 18. For more information about the Ignite Phoenix selection process, please review our voting process post.
Thank You to all submitters for supporting the idea and the community that Ignite Phoenix is trying to create. We feel strongly it is this willingness to get involved and share ideas that provides strength to the growing communities in the Phoenix-metro area.
Tickets go on-sale at 10am on October 16th, so please join us to light another fire under the Valley’s creative community!

Epic lineup! I can’t wait to soak this event up.
Great line-up. Though my submission “Get Outdoors!” didn’t make the cut I’m really looking forward to hearing these great presenters.
Btw, they all might want to view “How to Present Like Steve Jobs” either from Business Week (18 tips) http://bit.ly/qumC6 or Forbes (10 tips) http://bit.ly/2xGX24 Some great tips here.
Oh, and you need to change “free” to “almost free” since most folks (500 of the 600) will be forced to opt to pay the $5 “service charge” (or in TicketMaster speak, “BS”) fee.
If your wondering: “free” = $0. My “service charge” goes to my babysitter for kid-watching service. I will be (gladly) paying that to attend.
Very excited to have been included in what promises to be an exciting lineup.
I love the diversity and cross section of ideas! Cannot wait to watch and learn from each of the presenters.
Jim – two great links. Thanks for posting them!
Nice work guys … these look great, and awesome that you sold out so quick.
