If the mood of Ignite Phoenix #7 can be summed up in a single tweet, Peter Avery’s from the day after the event is probably the best:
Great comment yesterday @ignitephoenix… “I want to stop all the chatter and do something that means something”…… Recurrent theme
This is what Ignite at its very core is about. It’s about connecting passionate people with others who share the same passion. It’s about exposing individuals to thoughts and ideas which make them think, feel and do things they never would have otherwise. It’s about lighting fires inside of individuals to go and do something that means something.
Take what you heard, saw and felt on Friday night and go do something. It can be as small as talking to one stranger, or it can be as big as helping to save the world through radical altruism. Find that something which means something to you, and make it happen.

It’s been great seeing Ignite Phoenix transform from a small gathering at Job.com’s headquarters to a huge social gathering of hundreds of people. I’m fortunate to have been able to volunteer at the latest event. Keep up the great work.
