Thanks for your question, Tami. A slide presentation on DVD wouldn't work for a couple of reasons. First, we ask that everyone stay within the format of 20 static slides in order to keep the focus on the presenter and their passion, rather than on sliding text, zooming, animation, music or any other accompaniments.

Secondly, dealing with diverse formats such as DVDs and additional presentation components like music becomes technically challenging for us. We compile all presentations into a single master presentation, which allows us to minimize technical problems and maintain a relatively fast pace between speakers. In order to keep the event as simple as possible to produce, we ask all presenters to remain within the boundaries of 20 static slides.

Regards,
Matthew and the Ignite Phoenix team

You say you may be open to other formats.... would a slide presentation on DVD with static images ( no more than 20) be acceptable w/ or w/o music? What about sliding text, zooming, etc? Thanks

Hi Robert - Thanks for your question. No animations are allowed. All slides are to be static. Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Thanks,
Michael and the Ignite Phoenix Crew
